Moscow Polytech Takes Part in Pakistan Embassy’s Independence Day Reception

Moscow Polytech took part in a formal reception hosted by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Moscow to mark the country’s Independence Day. The University was represented at the event by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Yulia Davydova and Nazir Magsi, lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management.

The event brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, government and public organizations, as well as the academic and business communities. The formal reception provided a platform for strengthening Russian-Pakistani dialogue, developing professional contacts, and discussing prospects for further cooperation.

The cultural programme was a special highlight of the event. Guests enjoyed performances by the renowned Pakistani music group Khumariyaan and Rais Khan, a violinist who has received a state award of Pakistan. The participants also had an opportunity to discover traditional Pakistani music and national cuisine, reflecting the country’s rich cultural heritage and distinctive identity.

Moscow Polytech continues to strengthen cooperation with partners in Pakistan and expand collaboration in education. Key areas include the development of academic ties and inter-university cooperation, education of international students, and implementation of joint educational programmes.

Moscow Polytech congratulates the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Independence Day and wishes the country prosperity, well-being, and further development of Russian-Pakistani relations!
