The Director of the FDR School at Moscow Polytech will address the International Youth Festival
Moscow Polytech will participate in the International Youth Festival 2026, which will be held in Yekaterinburg. At the session "Education in Russia: Opportunities and Prospects" on September 13, the university will be represented by Pablo Iturralde, Director of the Frontier Engineering School of Technological Leadership (FDR). His talk will be part of a broader discussion on how Russian higher education unlocks opportunities for young people from around the world. Moscow Polytech's participation will highlight the university's role as one of the key centers for training a new generation of engineers with a global outlook on technological leadership.
The session will be moderated by Oksana Brazhnik, Deputy Director General of the ANO "National Priorities." Other speakers include Sergey Tushin, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Ural Federal University; Pavel Moiseev, Rector of Derzhavin Tambov State University; Ekaterina Shilova, Deputy Head of the New Enrollment Department at Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University; Nadezhda Panibratova, Head of the Department for Social Adaptation and Support of International Students at Tomsk State University; as well as graduates and current students — Abdessamad Menasria, a postgraduate student at the Department of Hospital Surgery of the N.V. Sklifosovsky Institute of Clinical Medicine; Chamat Sakshi Shyam from India; and Vijaya Steven from Indonesia.
Pablo Iturralde will share his personal story: why he chose Russia and Moscow Polytech to build his career and realize his ideas, what initially drove him to pursue engineering, and what continues to inspire him today — in his work with students, in advancing engineering education, and in his commitment to preparing specialists capable of shaping the technological future. His talk will serve as a vivid example of how international experience and Russian education can come together to create a successful professional path.
The session promises to be a platform for open dialogue about the opportunities that Russian education offers to young people from different countries and the prospects it creates for those ready to learn, work, and inspire others.
