Delegation from the Embassy of Burkina Faso Visits Moscow Polytech

Moscow Polytech welcomed a delegation fr om the Embassy of Burkina Faso, led by Tingade Florent Bougouma, Minister Counselor of the Embassy. The delegation also included Vital Placide Sempore, Attaché for Culture and Education. The university was represented by Yulia Davydova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Alina Andrukh, Head of the International Office. Sergey Chesnokov, a permanent expert of the Russia-Africa Club at Lomonosov Moscow State University, also took part in the meeting.

During the visit, Moscow Polytech presented its academic programs and state-of-the-art educational and research facilities. The participants discussed opportunities for training future engineering professionals and explored potential areas of cooperation. Particular attention was given to attracting students from Burkina Faso to study at Moscow Polytech.

Yulia Davydova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, noted:

“Moscow Polytech is a modern university that prepares highly qualified specialists in both engineering and the humanities for Russia’s leading companies. Our university offers a unique educational and research environment, including the Advanced Engineering School for Technological Leadership (FDR), whose laboratories are fully equipped to carry out real industrial projects in cooperation with our partners. We see great potential in welcoming talented students from Burkina Faso and are confident that our practice-oriented approach to education will help them become highly sought-after professionals and contribute to the development of their country’s economy.”

Representatives of Burkina Faso emphasized their interest in increasing the number of students who can receive a high-quality engineering education in Russia and apply their knowledge to support the development of their national economy.

Minister Counselor Tingade Florent Bougouma expressed his appreciation:

“We would like to thank Moscow Polytech for the warm welcome and the opportunity to explore your outstanding laboratory facilities. We are confident that our cooperation will be productive and will open new horizons for education and science in Burkina Faso.”

The visit concluded with a tour of the Advanced Engineering School for Technological Leadership (FDR). The delegation explored the university’s modern laboratories, wh ere students work on real engineering projects, and learned about internship opportunities offered through Moscow Polytech’s industrial partners. The guests highly appreciated the university’s practice-oriented approach to education and its advanced facilities, noting that this model fully meets the needs of African economies for well-trained engineering professionals.
