Moscow Polytech Students Invited to Join “Adventures of Foreigners in Russia”
Moscow Polytech hosted a meeting for international students with Maria Glazunova, editor of the youth media platform and community “Adventures of Foreigners in Russia.” It is a major information resource for those who study or plan to study in Russia, aimed at helping international students and professionals adapt to living, studying and working in different regions of the country.
During the meeting, Maria Glazunova introduced the key areas of the initiative. Its online platforms provide international students with information about university admissions and studies, cultural events, competitions, grants, and opportunities for personal and professional development. The platform also publishes explanations of Russian legislation, useful articles and contacts, as well as practical information on financial matters, bank cards and money transfers. Special attention is given to adaptation, social and cultural life, and communication between students fr om different countries.
“Our goal is to help international students adapt to life in Russia and to promote Russian education abroad,” Maria Glazunova said.
According to the editor, international students make up more than 80% of the platform’s audience. It regularly publishes news, practical guides and advisory materials. Students can also join thematic chats wh ere they can communicate with each other, ask questions and share their own experiences.
Students were particularly interested in the opportunity to become part of the team. International students can share information about themselves, submit their CVs, news stories and original content, take part in competitions, develop their personal blogs and represent “Adventures of Foreigners in Russia” as ambassadors.
“Any student who is interested can become part of our team. Being our ambassador is a great opportunity to showcase yourself, develop your future career and help other international students,” Maria emphasized.
For students, participating in the initiative is not only a way to stay up to date with life in Russia, but also an opportunity to gain experience in journalism, blogging and media content creation.
At the end of the meeting, Maria Glazunova wished the students success in their studies and in learning Russian.
