Moscow Polytech Team Participated in Forum on Digital Transformation of Education

The All-Russian Conference on Digital Transformation and the Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Education, "Oh! Cadres decide everything ("Кадры решают всё")", was held at the Yaroslavl State University named after P. G. Demidov. Moscow Polytech experts took part in the conference: Daria Chesnokova, Vice-Rector for the Development of the University Environment and Campus Services; Ilya Krassilnikov, Vice-Rector for Digital Development; and Vyacheslav Yaglinsky, Deputy Head of the Information Technology Center.

The conference brought together representatives of federal and regional authorities, university leaders, experts in digital transformation, IT directors, business representatives, and members of the professional community fr om various regions of Russia.

"Participation of the University's Vice-Rectors in the conference on digital transformation and AI provided practical ideas and solutions," noted Ilya Krassilnikov. "The experience gained will be used to develop service support and other areas at the University. The trip to the conference allowed the University to adopt the best practices and accelerate the implementation of AI technologies. New initiatives will improve the quality of services for students and automate many processes, which will strengthen the University's digital maturity and its competitiveness."

Special attention at the meeting was paid to cooperation between universities and the state, as well as the formation of a unified ecosystem for training specialists who are capable to work effectively in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies.

The conference also marked the starting point for bringing together the country's largest higher education organizations to develop a university digital maturity ranking called “Digital Pulse”.

In June 2026, Moscow Polytech ranked 23rd in Moscow in the university ranking for the quality of training specialists in artificial intelligence, compiled by the AI Alliance.

Moscow Polytechnic University is systematically integrating artificial intelligence into all areas of its operation: fr om customer service and speech analytics to document management and research. The University is consistently moving from isolated digital solutions to an AI-native organization model, wh ere neural networks are becoming not just a trendy add-on but an integral part of daily work. The University's plans include the creation of an AI-native educational environment: the introduction of digital student profiles and a unified AI platform in the electronic educational environment (e-Learning resources), wh ere each student will have an AI tutor and each teacher will have an intelligent assistant.

Background: the event was organized by "Me, You & IT ("я-ИТ-ы")", the largest non-profit community of digital managers, with the support of leading educational organizations, the Ministry of Social Communications and Scientific and Technological Development of the Yaroslavl Region, and the Ministry of Digital Development of the Yaroslavl Region.
