Moscow Polytech Presents "Bolder Thoughts" Book and Educational Programs in Serbia
An International Book Fair will take place in Belgrade from October 25 to November 2, 2025. Throughout all nine days, the fair will feature exciting book premieres, engaging meetings, and numerous cultural events for participants. Creative Director Ekaterina Khokhlogorskaya will represent Moscow Polytech, presenting publications and the university's finest educational programs.
This year's exhibition brings together participants from 15 countries: Cyprus, Romania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Greece, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Iran, Morocco, and Tunisia. The Russian national stand will showcase over 800 books from leading Russian publishers including Alpina, Ridero, Institute of Legislation, Eksmo, Rodnoye Pepelishche, AST, and others.
The 2025 exhibition presents fiction, educational materials, encyclopedias, children's literature, popular science books, and richly illustrated photo albums. The collection also includes publications commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 130th anniversary of renowned Russian poet Sergei Yesenin's birth.
As tradition dictates, the exhibition stand and other Belgrade venues will host meetings with Russian authors.
On October 30, Ekaterina Khokhlogorskaya will deliver a presentation titled "The Best Education in Russia: Moscow Polytechnic University."
That same day, together with writer, television host, screenwriter, and publicist Platon Besedin, they will present the book "Bolder Thoughts: A Typographical Story of the Electric Vehicle Dream," published by Moscow Polytech. The presentation will explore how electric vehicles initially captured, then lost, and ultimately regained worldwide prominence.
The Russian delegation also includes distinguished members:
- Varvara Zaborсеva - poet, prose writer, and Master of Art History
- Marina Moskvina - internationally translated author, screenwriter, journalist, and broadcast host
- Khelga Pataki - Development Director of "Nastya and Nikita" Publishing House, children's author, local historian, and educator
- Ivan Rodionov - literary critic, blogger, editor, and member of the "Big Book" National Literary Prize Academy
- Nikolai Svechin - accomplished historical detective novelist
- Anastasia Strokina - children's writer, poet, and translator
- Leonid Tishkov - visual artist, writer, and illustrator of Russian and foreign classics
- Vasily Tyukhin - translator from Albanian and English
- Mršavko Štapić - editor, writer, screenwriter, and journalist
Following the fair's conclusion, the entire book exhibition will remain in Serbia as a donation to the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Serbia.
