Moscow Polytech Invites Schools Students to Take Part in the Olympiad on Engineering and Computer Graphics
Until April 15, schoolchildren from Moscow and the Moscow region can register to participate in the regional Olympiad among schoolchildren from Moscow and the Moscow region on knowledge of engineering and computer graphics. The Olympiad will be held on April 26.
At the Olympiad, school students will be able to test their 3D modeling skills in various CAD systems, such as Kompas-3D, T-flex and others.
There are several nominations:
— Applicants
Pupils of grades 11 and final-year college students
— Profile
Pupils of grades 5–10 with an advanced level of knowledge of the subject
— Basic
Students of grades 5–10 with a basic level of knowledge of the subject.
Students will need to create a 3D model of the product in a CAD program based on the provided drawings. Additionally: a drawing of the part or an assembly drawing of the structure, a photo and video of the structure in operation. The complexity of the task depends on the chosen level of training.
The tasks are to be completed in one of the following programs (the program is to be chosen by a participant):
1. COMPASS -3D (Version 20)
2. T-FLEX CAD (Version 17)
3. SolidWorks (Version 2018)
