60 teams participated in the VIKhR All-Russian Engineering Hackathon 2025 at Moscow Polytechnic University
The results of the VIKhR (“Vortex”) All-Russian Engineering Hackathon 2025 were announced at Moscow Polytechnic University. Over the course of a month, 60 teams from universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Akhtubinsk, Tyumen, Samara, Voronezh, Crimea, and other regions solved a complex technical problem posed by Aquaphor. Thirty-two teams advanced to the finals, which took place from December 11 to 16.
According to Aquaphor representatives, the event was a blast.
"Every year we discover something new. The solutions students propose are sometimes original, sometimes crazy, but they undoubtedly expand our horizons and help us see the problem from a new perspective," emphasized Moscow Polytechnic University partners.
VIKhR organizers noted that the technical level of the participants improves each year.
The finalists were as follows:
1st place — Team "Digital Blacksmiths" (Moscow Polytechnic University)
2nd place — Team "Vershiteli" (Tomsk Polytechnic University)
- Team "Impedance" (Vzlet Branch of the Moscow Aviation Institute in Akhtubinsk)
- Team "Quantum +" (Samara National Research University)
3rd place — Team "FLASH" (Samara National Research University)
- Team "InovaTech" (Moscow Power Engineering Institute)

The winners of the blitz tournament received a separate prize. The ability to focus on a problem and find a solution in just one hour is a fantastic skill, undoubtedly essential for modern engineers.
The "Time Forward" team (Samara National Research University named after Academician S.P. Korolev) won the blitz tournament.
This is the third year that VIKhR has been held for Moscow schoolchildren.
