Moscow Polytech experts discuss future of refrigeration industry with businesses

Moscow Polytech will actively participate in the business program of the 21st international exhibition "Climate World 2026," which will be held from February 16 to 19 at the Timiryazev Center. Experts from the university and Rossouzholodprom (Russian Union of Refrigeration Industry Enterprises) will organize and host a scientific and practical conference entitled "Current Development of the Refrigeration Industry". The event will provide a platform for direct dialogue between science, education, and business on current industry issues.

The conference program includes discussions on several topics: import substitution in the refrigeration industry, the development of Russian compressors, and regulatory changes. In parallel with the business program, exhibitors—engineers, designers, and installers—will have the opportunity to see the latest products and solutions firsthand. Both established market leaders and more than 20 new brands will be represented at the same venue.

As a reminder, over the years, the Climate World exhibition has established itself as the largest business platform for the HVACR industry in Russia and the CIS. In 2025, the Expocentre Fairgrounds hosted over 12,000 visitors. Over 250 companies from eight countries displayed their latest equipment and technologies across 17,000 square meters of exhibition space, exceeding last year's figures.

Background: The main goals of the Climate World exhibition are to introduce the latest equipment innovations, engage experts in dialogue to identify industry trends, and identify short- and long-term development prospects.
