1.4 Thousand People Visited Moscow Poly Isle at ‘Education and Career’ Exhibition
Moscow Poly participated in the 54th Moscow International ‘Education and Career’ exhibition. The event took place on 5-6 March at the “Gostiny Dvor” complex.
During the two days, that the exhibition lasted over 1.4 thousand people visited Moscow Poly isle. The participants of the exhibition asked about educational programs, our dormitories, scholarships, education prices, how well-equipped the labs are, as well as extracurricular activities, etc.
The questions were answered by the university staff, who also introduced guests to the university activity.
Alexandra Petrichenko, the admission committee member, shared that many students asked about admission to the university based on the Olympiad results.
Currently final stage contests are being held. Enrollees asked about the privileges they may have when enrolling without admission exams. Many school graduates have also asked about target admission because they have already acquired a specialization and are ready to continue their education followed by employment.
During those 2 days we answered questions like ‘How does the selection go?’, ‘What personal achievements are accepted when enrolling?’, ‘What are the pass scores?’, ‘Is there dormitory and is there quota places for it?’, “Is there a military department at a University, does it provide students with a military deferment?”
Alexandra Petrichenko said: “Year after year enrollees and their parents ask the same questions and that`s perfectly fine. Admission period is exciting for everybody. When answering these question we`re always trying to tell enrollees in detail how to apply and live through this period without much anxiety”.
‘Education and Career’ exhibition is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation and Moscow administration. In its scale and quality, the exhibition takes one of the leading places among similar events both in Russia and abroad.
