Moscow Polytech Students Win Rosmolodezh Grants Worth Almost 4 Million Rubles

Five students of Moscow Polytechnic University have won the All-Russian competition "Rosmolodezh.Grants.Season 1". The large-scale selection process received a record number of applications, with experts reviewing and evaluating almost 17,000 projects fr om all over the country. The final list of winners included 710 initiatives, among them projects developed by representatives of the University. The activists received funding totaling 3,892,000 rubles.

Winning projects:

• " 'PUSHKA' Winter Wellness Marathon". The author is Arina Borisova, a student of the Faculty of Economics and Management. According to Arina's idea, the project is a comprehensive two-stage post-exam recovery program for Moscow Polytech students, aimed at reducing the subjective level of emotional exhaustion and increasing students' involvement in personal development and educational activities. The grant amount is 762,000 roubles. 
• " 'Peak Award' ('Премия Пик'): A Platform for Student Motivation, Self-Realization and Public Recognition". The author is Ekaterina Melnichenko, a student of the Transport Faculty. The 'Peak Award' project is a university platform for student motivation, self-realization and public recognition, designed to address the lack of systematic support for student achievements and low involvement of a broad student audience in the University's youth policy ecosystem. The project combines consultation, competition, expert, information and event components, making it possible to identify, support and publicly recognize students and student teams aged 17 to 35 who have achieved strong results in academic, research, sports, cultural, creative and social activities. The award is unique in that it forms a unified system for recognizing both individual and team achievements, including special nominations for international students, student families, and best educational practices in dormitories and branches. The project is designed as a step-by-step process, fr om receiving and supporting at least 200 applications to holding an official award ceremony for nominees and winners in more than 17 categories. This will help build a culture of recognition at the University, increase young people's motivation for creative activity, and strengthen the corporate student community. The grant amount is 473,000 rubles. 
• " 'Above Fear': Professional Training Program for Volunteer Rescuers in High-Angle Rescue Operations Using a Rope Access System". The author is Maria Orel, a student of the Transport Faculty. The project is a comprehensive program for training volunteers in high-angle rescue operations, including theoretical classes and practical exercises on organizing body harness systems, tying knots, transporting an injured person in unsupported space, and working in small teams. The project is aimed at improving the professional competencies of rescue team cadets, reducing risks during real emergencies, and promoting volunteering in emergency response. The grant amount is 896,000 rubles. 
• " 'First-Year Student: First Step' Adaptation Creative Festival". The author is Daria Samerkhanova, a student of the Faculty of Publishing and Journalism. The festival is aimed at the creative adaptation of first-year students at Moscow Polytech, especially students from other cities and international students. In the conditions of a metropolis, first-year students of Moscow Polytechnic University face a double adaptation process: not only to the academic environment of a technical university, but also to the rhythm of a big city. The unique feature of the festival is the use of creativity as a powerful adaptation tool: in a non-specialized technical university, talents become a "bridge" to the community, unlocking potential for creative thinking and lifestyle. The project does not simply introduce participants to Moscow Polytech; it creates a space wh ere they gain confidence for active life in Moscow, at the University and beyond. The festival is a system of soft adaptation, wh ere creativity becomes a tool for getting to know the University, the team and the city. Through open enrollment, mentoring by senior students and participation in joint creative tracks, first-year students find friends more quickly, settle into the university environment and become part of the student community. The project starts with open enrollment for all first-year students in seven areas that combine classic and innovative formats for maximum accessibility and engagement: singing, dancing, acting, science slam, school of presenters, KVN (humor contest club) and original performance. This combination makes the festival universal: introverts can try slam or singing, extroverts can try KVN or hosting, while all participants together build a barrier-free community. At this stage, the project plans to involve at least 1,000 people. The casting will be held in the format of friendly auditions at campus. Each participant will receive personal feedback fr om senior student mentors and a guaranteed chance to take part, without strict selection and with a full focus on inclusivity so that no one is left out. This will be followed by an off-site stage for 150 participants with rehearsals and master classes at a specialized cultural and educational center for powerful team-building and immersion in the gala concert program. The gala concert will become the culmination of the project: a bright show will be held in the main hall of Moscow Polytech with at least 500 spectators and guests, wh ere the true festival spirit of the community will be born. The grant amount is 877,000 rubles.
• " 'Science of Winning' Educational Intensive". The author is Evgeniy Yugay. "Science of Winning" is an educational intensive course for students of Moscow Polytech and universities in Moscow and the Moscow Region, aimed at creating a platform for step-by-step entry into research and project activities through practice, guidance and the defense of participants' own solutions. The grant amount is 884,000 rubles.

Background: the "Rosmolodezh.Grants" competition is held as part of the national project "Youth and Children" and is aimed at supporting young talents under the age of 35. Rosmolodezh stands for Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
