On August 20-21, 2025, Moscow hosted the II World Forum "New Era - New Ways," bringing together over 140 speakers from 55 countries. This year's forum focused on developing the Greater Eurasian Partnership (GEP) and prospects for international integration, while also examining the crucial role of new media in strengthening global connections - a topic of particular relevance to Moscow Polytech representatives.
Moscow Polytech was represented by Leonid Tolchinsky, Deputy Director of the Institute of Publishing and Journalism, and Natalia Konovalova, Head of the Analytical Center. As part of the business program, they participated in an expert discussion on how new media influences the formation of international relationships. The discussion specifically addressed bloggers' contributions to strengthening ties with regions such as Asia, Africa, and Latin America, which holds particular significance in the context of Russia's foreign policy.
Special attention at the forum was given to developing high-quality educational content for new media platforms, which can serve as a powerful tool for attracting international students and researchers, as well as promoting Russian educational and scientific projects on the global stage.
"One of the most important aspects of the forum was its focus on opportunities created by new media in the context of global cooperation. We see significant potential in developing video content about Russian education that will help strengthen international connections and increase interest in Russian universities among foreign students," noted Leonid Tolchinsky.
According to participants, the forum provided an important platform for sharing experiences and discussing international cooperation strategies in a multipolar world.
