Students of Moscow Polytech get acquainted with the work of an enterprise creating parachute systems
Future engineers – students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Moscow Polytech got to know the key fields of work of the leading Russian enterprise creating parachute systems – Moscow Engineering and Production Complex “Universal” named after A.I. Privalov. The visit was organized by the company “RT – Tekhpriyomka” of Rostec State Corporation.
The students learned about the activity of a leading Russian enterprise creating parachute systems, about the history of creating the parachute technology, as well as the processes of their current production. Additionally, they visited production sites of metal processing and assembly of the items and tried themselves in working with modern automatic equipment at the sewing workshop.
Special attention during the excursion was paid to the enterprise quality control system, its role in testing and releasing products on which people’s life depend.
Representatives of “RT – Tekhpriyomka” and MEPC “Universal” named after A.I. Privalov in a close dialogue with the students answered questions regarding the possibility of confirming the acquired university knowledge in practice and the conditions of further internships and employment.
The event was held in the framework of an annual initative “A Week without Turnstiles”, which is conducted under the support of The Union of Machine Builders of Russia.
“Participation in such events allows students to immerse themselves in a real production process and the direct activities of the organization, get acquainted with advanced technologies and communicate with experts; and for us, as future employers, at the stage of training young specialists, - to identify future qualified personnel and offer them an interesting job,” - underlined Oksana Mezentseva, Advisor to Director General of “RT – Tekhpriyomka” for standardization, technical regulation and quality.
