Moscow Polytechnic University Shows High School Students fr om Udmurtia Wh ere and How Racing Sports Cars are Made

Schoolchildren fr om the Glazov Physics and Mathematics Lyceum in the Udmurt Republic learned about the cutting-edge engineering developments at Moscow Polytechnic University. The university's Engineering School organized the meeting and prepared an eventful program offering an immersion into student life. The students not only learned about the educational programs but also tried their hand at piloting drones and learned admissions secrets from recent university students.

First, the students visited the Advanced Engineering School of Technological Leadership (FDR). There, they were shown the laboratories wh ere students work on real projects for the university's industrial partners and learned about the most in-demand programs.

A key part of the visit was a meeting with representatives of the Admissions Committee. The students received a detailed explanation of the Fall 2026 admission requirements, an overview of the educational tracks, and attention to key points often overlooked by applicants.

A practical class on unmanned aerial vehicles proved to be one of the most memorable moments. The students not only learned the theory but also grasped the basic operating principles of modern drones.

Finally, they met with a graduate from their city. A second-year IT student Matvey Demidov moved to Moscow from Glazov and is now eager to share his experience. Matvey told the senior students about the admissions process, how easy it is to adapt to life in the capital, and why he chose Moscow Polytechnic University.
