Moscow Polytechnic University Students Learn About Internship Programs and Birth of Creativity at BBDO Office

The Advertising and Public Relations in Digital Media Department of the Faculty of Economics and Management at Moscow Polytech organized visits to the BBDO creative agency for its students. Agency staff explained the internship programs and gave a lecture on the birth of creativity.

Alena Morozova, Head of HR, led the students on an office tour. The students learned about collaboration and employment opportunities and met with agency staff. In particular, Nikita Ponomarev, a fourth-year student in the Advertising and Public Relations in Digital Media Department, spoke about his work. Nikita has been working as a junior copywriter at BBDO for two years. He has no plans to stop and plans to continue working at a top agency and pursue a master's degree at Moscow Polytech. Students also enjoyed a lecture from BBDO’s Creative Director Dmitry Nikolaev and the company's Executive Director Kristina Krushinskaya. The speakers discussed creative approaches in commercials and how creativity is born in BBDO scripts. Dmitry also told the students about his recently published book, the tricks of creative professionals, and the secrets of generating paradoxical ideas.

Dmitry Nikolaev noted the students' high level of knowledge and emphasized that they are receiving excellent training in advertising.

According to the department's staff, such interaction with industry aces provides students with relevant industry experience. They not only gained a better understanding of how an advertising agency works from the inside but also saw that a desire to develop in a field they love and an openness to new ideas are the path to success in the advertising world. The department thanks BBDO for the warm welcome, tour, and lecture.
