Students from the Moscow Polytechnic University's Printing Department attended the 26th International Exhibition of Equipment for the Textile and Light Industry, INLEGMASH. At the exhibition, they met with Akakiy Dzhvarsheishvili, a graduate from the department and CEO of Printex Russia, PhD in Engineering.
The company has been operating for 15 years, and over these years, it has become a leading supplier of screen printing equipment for textiles in Russia and the CIS. In an informal conversation with the students, CEO shared his professional experience, discussed his journey from the classroom to the CEO's chair, and discussed the knowledge that is particularly in demand in the printing industry today.
The Moscow Polytech’s graduate emphasized the importance of practical experience for future specialists and advised, in addition to a good academic record, to immerse themselves in real-world work as early as possible and enroll in all available additional courses. For the students, the exhibition tour and meeting were an excellent opportunity to see the latest equipment in action, learn about modern materials, and explore industry trends. They said the most valuable part was the live interaction with professionals. Oksana Kublashvili, Associate Professor of the Department of Technology and Quality Management in Printing and Packaging, led the group.
