Moscow Polytech Donates Student Paintings to Children's Hospice Charity Fund

A charity concert in memory of the outstanding contemporary conductor Fuat Mansurov, People's Artist of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Tatarstan, was held in Moscow. The concert was organized by the Plenipotentiary Representative Envoy to the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation. All proceeds fr om ticket sales and charitable contributions were transferred to the A. Vavilova Regional Public Fund for Children's Aid in support of a children's hospice. Moscow Polytech donated five paintings to the fund, painted by students under the guidance of teachers fr om the Drawing and Painting Department during their summer practice in Tatarstan.

“The summer plein-air of Moscow Polytech’s students was held in Innopolis”, noted Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Moscow Polytech Guyzel Sharipzyanova. “The students together with teachers drew the beauties of Tatarstan – Innopolis, Kazan, Sviyazhsk. And today, we want to present the fund with five wonderful works of art, which, I do hope, will warm the children in the hospice with the warmth of our hearts”.

In addition, those who wished could purchase the pictures in the lobby of the concert hall, wh ere Moscow Polytech was presenting the works based on the results of the trip to Tatarstan. The exhibition “Plein-air 2024. Kazan, Sviyazhsk, Innopolis” was conducted for the first time at Moscow Polytech. Then, in December 2024, the exhibition opened at the National Museum of Art and Photography, wh ere Deputy Envoy of Tatarstan Emil Faizullin visited it. In March, paintings and graphic works were exhibited at the Central House of Culture of Railwaymen, where there was a concert in memory of a conductor Mansurov.

At the event, the works were presented to Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Plenipotentiary Representative Envoy to the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Ravil Akhmetshin, Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Erlan Shamishev, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Khakimzyanov, Chairman of the Board of the Regional Public Fund for Assistance to Children named after Angela Vavilova Vladimir Vavilov, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Composers of Russia Rashid Kalimullin, the family of Fuat Mansurov and Musa Jalil's daughter Chulpan Zalilova and others.
