The first thematic session on IT and artificial intelligence has successfully concluded at the Moscow Polytechnic University urban summer camp. Schoolchildren aged 7-14 rested and gained new knowledge under the guidance of university mentors.

The topic of the session was game design. The children were introduced to the Construct 3 game engine and began to develop their own games: they created characters, explored game events, and learned to manage risk mechanics. Participants then divided into "studios" to work on collaborative team projects, with each group developing a unique game. On the final day of the session, the teams presented their projects to their parents.

An additional theme of the program was an introduction to China: participants learned interesting facts about the country, practiced calligraphy, studied basic vocabulary, and immersed themselves in Chinese culture and etiquette. Using a 3D map, the children "toured" China's landmarks. At the end of the session, the children presented a case study titled "A Russian Tourist in China."

The IT session was highly engaging. And on June 8, the session "Robotics, Engineering and 3D Modeling" started. Upcoming programs for schoolchildren will include a session on biochemistry and a creative workshop.
