More than 200 guests attended the Open Day of the «Polygraph» Art School
On September 7, the «Polygraph» Art School held an in-person Open Day for interested in the Graphics program. The school's staff presented preparatory courses for graphic arts applicants, held a screening of artwork and master classes, and answered questions fr om guests.
At the meeting, leading teachers of the «Polygraph» fr om the V.A. Favorsky Institute of Graphics and Book Art consulted prospective students on the curriculum and creative entrance exams in painting, drawing, and illustration, and assessed the artistic skills of those who submitted their creative works.
A rich and useful program was prepared for the guests, divided into different levels.
For many, the most valuable part of the program was the opportunity to present their work to the instructors and receive professional assessment. During individual consultations, experts provided valuable advice on their work, pointed out their strengths, and helped identify areas for further development. This was an excellent start to preparing for preparation to entrance tests.
Younger students, just beginning their creative journeys, plunged headlong into the practice. Two fascinating master–classes were organized for them:
— Pixel Art, wh ere participants learned the basics of creation and attempted to create their first pixel art pieces.
— Sketching, wh ere the students mastered the basics of quick sketching, learning to capture movement and form, and developing their drawing skills.
— Applicants and their parents were able to interact with faculty staff and students and ask all their questions about admission, the program, and their future careers.
