«МЕDЬ» Forum United Over 100 Students from 20 Russian Universities

The «МЕDЬ» forum of audio and visual arts has started at Moscow Poly. In the course of the 5 days, the students will learn from 10 leading experts in the 6 field areas – journalism, design, art, video, advertising and photography. The geography of the participants is wide: St.Petersburg, Pskov, Stavropol, Samara, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok and so on.

The opening ceremony took place on October 26 on the territory of Moscow Poly “Polet” base.

Their welcoming speeches delivered Moscow Poly vice-president for students activities and social work Olga Chernykh, university creative director Ekaterina Khokhlogorskaya, FEFU vice-president for youth policy and assistant of Moscow Poly president Alexander Kaidanovich, as well as the Russian Union of Journalists secretary Roman Serebryanniy. The guys have learnt about the schedule of the event and met their supervisors.

This year, among the invited experts there were such famous specialists as, for example, Artem Tkach – digital artist, art director and NFT project curator. Artem`s specialization is computer graphics, he worked for Yandex, Pepsi, TNT. Sberbank, “StreetBeat”, “Би-2”, and ‘Central Partnership’ picture motion company and others.

The participants learnt to make video footages and photo projects, create images of student media in online and offline format, as well as organize events in the art-industry.

The Forum ended with a project contest. The winners were awarded prizes and received support to implement their plans and suggestions about interesting internships.

For reference: «МЕDЬ» forum of audio and visual arts was held for the 8th time. This year, the project is organized under assistance of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
