Associate professor at Moscow Polytechnic University served as an expert on a training course for secondary vocational education workers
The All-Russian Children's Center "Smena" held an in-person training session for the additional professional program "New Trends in the Development of Education in the Secondary Vocational Education System." The seminar brought together over 300 specialists from secondary vocational education institutions across Russia. Olesya Zmazneva, Associate Professor of the Department of Infocognitive Technologies at the Faculty of Information Technology at Moscow Polytech, led the seminar.
In a letter of thanks to Moscow Polytech Rector Vladimir Miklushevsky, Igor Zhuravlev, Director of the All-Russian Children's Center "Smena," expressed "sincere gratitude for the opportunity provided to Olesya Anatolyevna Zmazneva to participate in the implementation of the additional professional program."
Moscow Polytech’s expert moderated the project session "Youth Media Centers in Vocational Educational Institutions" and conducted a master class for college specialists on how to improve the quality of media coverage for events. Together with the expert, the seminar participants discussed how to highlight newsworthy events and prepare a high-quality press release about college events.
Olesya Zmazneva also participated as a speaker in the expert session "The Source of Basic Russian Values – the Spiritual and Moral Culture of the Multinational People of Russia" and the seminar "The Cultural Code as an Effective Tool for Forming and Preserving the National Identity of Young People. The Cultural Code of Colleges/Technical Schools," among other events.
The continuing education program included lectures, panel discussions, project and partnership sessions, an expert briefing, and cultural events. Participants discussed current government policies in the areas of education, patriotic and digital education, and countering extremism and terrorism in educational institutions. Employers from leading industries covered by the “Professionalism” program participated in the panel discussion "New Personnel for the Russian Economy." Separate sessions focused on the development of mentoring and the “Professionalism” and “Smena” ambassadors. Seminars on career guidance and grantmaking were also held. The final project session focused on updating the educational programs in the secondary vocational education system.
Experts and speakers at the event included Lyudmila Falkovskaya, Director of the Department of State Policy for the Protection of Children's Rights at the Russian Ministry of Education; Olga Babak, Head of the Department for Coordination of Educational Projects at the Institute for the Development of Professional Education; Elena Elshina, Deputy Chair of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education; and other representatives of all-Russian scientific and public organizations.
Background: The program is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the secondary vocational education system and is being implemented as part of the federal project "Professionalism" of the national project "Youth and Children" with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
