The educational program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists who are able to carry out a full cycle of development and research of new materials (ceramic, polymer, etc.) and products from them.

Along with the formation of professional competencies, the program is aimed at creating the ability of students to respond flexibly to the rapidly changing demands of the modern market, the need for continuous improvement of their professional level.

Leading experts involved in the problems of modern biocompatible materials are involved in the scientific management of master's theses.

The educational process combines theoretical preparation with research work, which is carried out on the real subjects of partner enterprises and includes various stages of developing material technology from developing hypotheses to obtaining prototypes, studying their properties, as well as promoting scientific developments in the market.

Research work is carried out on relevant topics of enterprises, which allows students from the first days of training to plunge into the atmosphere of real production and get acquainted with future employers.

Training of specialists is carried out on the basis of the Department of "Materials", the Center for collective use, laboratories Institute of metallurgy and materials science named after A.A. Baykov of the RAS.
