Your career path – from a project to a job offer

At Moscow Polytech since the very beginning, you will start investigating career opportunities and compile your portfolio, which you will enter industry with. The following will wait for you:

• Studying disciplines;
• The Adaptive Course;
• The Leaders ‘Club (for the enrollees having 85+ points in Mathematics and Computer Science or Mathematics and Physics);
• Project Activity with modules: design thinking, the theory of solving inventive tasks, market analysis, AI, fundamentals of Project Management;
• The participation in real projects with industrial partners and undergoing the first practice;
• The opportunity of professional retraining — additional professional education “Market Analysis and Market Research”;
• The recommendations and consultations of the Career Center upon the results of testing competencies with our partner “Russia — the Country of Opportunities”;
• Creating a personal AI-Agent — your assistant in the studies.

On the second year, you dive into practice. An opportunity for you appears in:

• Studying disciplines;
• Obtaining the second diploma for free at the Digital Department (for everybody, except for the IT-specialties; for IT the course of Digital Department is incorporated in the main educational program);
• Choosing the project with an industrial partner or to propose your own one;
• Undergoing the first internship;
• Taking a refresher course “Technological Entrepreneurship and Innovative Business Development” (for all Fields of Study).

By the third year, you will already replenish your portfolio and start receiving new job offers. The following will help you with this:

• Study of disciplines;
• Flexible time-table of training sessions;
• Portfolio for three years of project activity and an implemented business-case;
• Production Practice in the framework of project activity;
• Career marathon, hackathons, international internships;
• Closed networking with top management;
• Job offers from the partner-companies.

The portfolio has been compiled, contacts established, the work found. It remains to get a diploma and enter the market being a sought-after specialist. In the fourth year, you will:

• Study disciplines;
• Combine studies and work;
• Prepare your diploma as the Final Qualifying Work or a start-up;
• Get additional education and study foreign languages;
• Participate in hackathons and international internships;
• Compile your portfolio for admission to the Master’s program;
• Defend projects in front of the real sector of industry and the committee with an opportunity of receiving investments and a job offer.
