Moscow Poly Hosts SNK-2021 Exhibition

Moscow Poly hosted LXXI open International Student Scientific Conference “SNK-2021”. Almost 1500 students took part in the Conference, dedicated to different subjects: from PE to design and from energetics to robotics.
The Conference is held by Moscow Poly every year and is visited by students of Moscow and regional higher education institutions of the Russian Federation. Moreover, every Conference is followed by a sourcebook.
The Conference contributes to the development of student scientific and research creativity and experience exchange in promising areas of mechanical engineering and other fundamental and applied sciences. Its main goal is to attract Russian students to scientific and research work and urgent scientific tasks’ solving.
This year for the 1st time the Conference was organized by Moscow Poly scientific management Directorate. Svetlana Kuleshova, an undergraduate research expert, noted that SNK-2021 allows students to demonstrate their capabilities in their areas of interests, which promotes the discovery of new talents.
Due to the epidemiological situation in Moscow SNK-2021 was held in the webinar mode and all scientific reports were presented and assessed by the jury online. The Conference covered the priority areas of Moscow Poly scientific and educational activities.
The Conference was held in 2 stages. The 1st stage was dedicated to 60 closed sessions, participated by only Moscow Poly students. The 18 sections of the 2nd stage were participated by the winners of the closed sessions and the representatives of different Russian and foreign universities. This year 65 Russian and 15 foreign universities (Armenia, Czech Republic, Belarus, France, USA, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Israel and Azerbaijan) took part in the Conference.
On April 28, Moscow Poly hosted the closing ceremony in the assembly hall (Bolshaya Semyonovskaya str., 38). Open sessions’ bottom line was drawn and all the winners received gifts, certificates and diplomas during the ceremony.
