Composite Technology (Materials Science and Technology )

Developing high-performance manufacturing technologies of electronic components production for microwave engineering, SHF and radio engineering require high-skilled professionals in the field of materials science and engineering. Our graduates have profound knowledge of solid-state physics, fraction mechanics, optics, and polymer organic chemistry; moreover, they have experience in research activity in the field of advanced materials and print media industry creation.

High quality of staff professional preparation in the terms of educational field “Printing and packaging materials and technologies” is provided by highly-qualified professors of the Department, increased interaction with main employers and their determination of educational process content and material and technical support of the educational activity.

Project training implies the development of multi-profile, inter-disciplinary fundamental and applied research as the base of graduates’ high level of education.

The field of master’s graduates’ professional activity includes scientific, technical, engineering and teaching fields, covering the set of objects of the Material engineering educational direction, including:

• new material synthesis;
• designing and operation of technological equipment for prototype and large-scale production of materials and products;
• material quality and technical diagnostics of manufacturing processes control means and methods development;
• materials’ structural and physical properties complexes determination (mechanical, thermo physical, optical, electro physical, etc.), corresponding to their practical use
