Moscow Polytech Hosts Delegation from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

A delegation from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Russian Federation, led by the Ambassador H.E. Mr. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, visited Moscow Polytechnic University. During the meeting, the guests and University administration representatives explored ways to expand their partnership and for implementing new joint initiatives.

As part of the visit, the delegates toured the facilities of the Advanced Engineering School for Technological Leadership FDR. During the tour, they were introduced to innovative research projects and had the opportunity to examine prototypes engineered by its specialists. 

The visit culminated in a meeting with Pakistani students currently enrolled at the university. In an open discussion with embassy representatives, the students shared their firsthand experience of pursuing higher education in Russia and integrating to its academic and cultural environment.

Since 2022, Moscow Polytechnic University has been actively developing its presence in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The University collaborates with local educational institutions and with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo representatives, participates annually in major education fairs in the country. It also implements a number of educational and cultural outreach projects there. Last year, the University's International Office organized the cultural and educational festival "Russia - My Soul ", which attracted over 350 participants.

The University intends to deepen its collaborative relationships with educational institutions in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan through the development of joint academic programs. Furthermore, this May will mark the second edition of the major Russian cultural festival, " Russia - My Soul", to be held in Karachi and Islamabad.
