Currently, there is a digital transformation of economic entities, directions and factors of their activities, the formation of a fundamentally different management system for companies, enterprises and organizations. Scientific and technological progress, characterized primarily by new science-intensive technologies, has become a major factor in economic growth. High technologies are a combination of new opportunities for information, knowledge, experience and other intangible and material resources spent in the production of competitive science-intensive products.

One of the main tasks of management is not only to maximize profits, but also to ensure high rates of economic development of the enterprise with a sufficient level of its financial stability. The volume and complexity of information is increasing, fundamentally new technologies for its collection and processing are emerging, and, accordingly, specialists are required who are able to solve complex analytical problems in the field of enterprise digital economics and finance.

The purpose of the educational program is to train a specialist in the field of digital economics and finance of an enterprise who meets the requirements of a potential employer at the time of graduation and in the near future; a specialist with the skills of settlement and economic activity, who has mastered in practice all stages of business planning; able to formulate a problem, set tasks, offer their optimal solutions in conditions of uncertainty.

The mission of the educational program is to meet the growing demand of the Russian society for the training of qualified specialists in the field of digital economics and finance of the enterprise, possessing knowledge and being able to effectively apply it in the conditions of the formation of a post-industrial economy.

Within the framework of the educational program, in addition to obtaining a basic theoretical economic education, a significant proportion of practice-oriented tasks is assumed. Starting from the first year, project training is conducted, when students, developing and implementing projects, develop the skills of thinking, information retrieval, analysis, experimentation, decision-making, independent work and teamwork. Practical activity in the development of business plans begins with the 1st year of the University. The objects for business planning are real projects of industrial enterprises.
