This program is aimed at training engineers in the sphere of vehicles or any other product work with virtual modeling and structural analysis. With us you will learn how to work with software systems for computer modeling, strength and dynamic analysis. These skills, demanded by the engineering team involved in any project, will provide you with career growth and high wages in various industries fr om automotive and energy to space and military.
The Moscow Polytechnic University is one of the metropolitan universities where training engineers, engineers, researchers are trained, capable of using modern software systems and modern test equipment to carry out complex calculations and experimental research of components and parts of transport and technological systems for strength, rigidity, stability.
The educational program is developed on the basis of needs and with the direct participation of design bureaus, research institutes, settlement centers of large motor transport and machine-building enterprises. Modern approaches are used in the design and calculation of components and parts of transport and technological systems.
Project training
The course aimed at creating a project for a real customer. Students conduct a project from scratch, develop it using various devices, software products and technologies. Each project has its own curator who sets tasks and helps to solve the problems that have arisen. The projects of our students are created in laboratories. These include:
Student Technology Center. It is a structural unit of the university within the framework of the Center for Project Activities, combining its technological, material and educational resources intended for the development and implementation of students' project activities.
Laboratory of prototyping and prototyping of the central processing center. Here they teach how to make products using additive manufacturing methods (3D printing), three-dimensional modeling, 3D scanning. The laboratory has personal 3D extrusion printers that, in most cases, provide for requests that appear as part of project activities at the university. Students also have equipment for printing parts from photopolymers with high accuracy - up to 0.32 microns.
BioTech cluster. The capabilities of the workshop of the Center for Project Activities include: metalwork and mechanical processing, gas welding, technological work with pipelines, electrical and radio installation, vacuum equipment, a complex of control and measuring measures and much more. Thanks to high-tech equipment, students can create, measure, set up experiments, test on their own projects!
Fablab of the Moscow Polytechnic. On the campus of the Moscow Polytechnic on Elektrozavodskaya, in the basement of Building A, a fablab works. This is a place wh ere you can come and work on an engineering project. The fablab has soldering jobs, laboratory equipment, 3D printers. You can also engage in programming microcontrollers: work with debug boards and sensors.
Thanks to the project activities, students are interested in working for the result and each graduate has a portfolio of completed projects - a kind of CV that guarantees the employer that he really mastered what is recorded in the curriculum.
