Round Table Entitled "Artificial Intelligence. Economic Aspects" Takes Place at Moscow Polytech
On 20 June 20, 2024 the Faculty of Economics and Management Department of Economics undder Moscow Polytech, in collaboration with the Department of International Activities, organized an international round table on "Artificial Intelligence. Economic Aspects".
The event brought together experts from Moscow Polytechnic University, as well as representatives of Urdu Federal University of Arts, Science and Technology in Karachi (Pakistan), professors from Islamic University of Uganda, Kumasi Technical University (Ghana) and Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University (Turkey).
The international round table aimed to discuss current trends related to AI and its economic aspects. The meeting provided the international participants with an opportunity to exchange views with experts from Moscow Polytechnic University on the application and use of AI in the modern world, and on its economic aspects.
Presentations were given by leading experts, in particular the vice-rector for academic affairs of Islamic University of Uganda, Dr Jamil Serwangda, and professor of Technical University of Kumasi (Ghana),Dr Khalidu Babamu Osman.
The Head of Department of Economics and Management of Moscow Polytechnic University Alexander Tenishchev, associate professor of the Department of Economics and Management Olga Ostrovskaya, senior lecturer of Department of Economics and Management Komisaruk R. took an active part in organization of the event. The lecturer at the Department of Economics and Management Alhassan Tijani Forgo, associate professor of the Department of Economics and Management Shmatko S.G., as well as postgraduate students Khaliss Ayoub and Andrea Pulikkottil Paul also joined the event.
Among the international guests of the event were Qurtuba Aslam, Abdul Samad and Nuzhat Tariq– Department of International Relations, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology Karachi (Pakistan). Rukiye Mehtap Özlü , Assoc. PhD, professor at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (Turkey). As well as PhD, associate professor Nabukeera Madinah Sebyala, and PhD, professor, Luwemba Musa Maswanku – Islamic University in Uganda.
