On 25 May, Moscow Polytechnic University together with the Center for Digital Development under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Tashkent University of Information Technologies held the first International Scientific ITCluster “Edges of Cyber Security: View from Russia and Uzbekistan”. The event took place in a mixed format. Moscow Polytech was represented by the Faculty of Information Technologies.
The Cluster was attended by the leading Russian and international universities, expert community representatives, students and scientists.
In the framework of the Cluster, there is a case championship “Security in Digital World”. 5 international sel ect teams that have passed a preliminary selection, participated in workshops and represented IT project presentation considering them fr om the viewpoint of information security.
The first place went to the Russian-Uzbek team with their project “Teaching HEI Employees Course of Actions in Non-Standard Situations” developed by Moscow Polytech students and HSE Georgy Kurakin, Algyul Aldag.
The event reached its aim to establish a platform for professional self-realization for young researchers and their participation in the process of solving problems of regional and international nature. As a result, an agreement on further cooperation and work on joint projects.
