Moscow Polytech Holds Meeting with Representatives of “Global Universities”
On January 18, Moscow Polytech held a meeting with the “Global Universities” association and representative universities. The main goal was to discuss priority areas of cooperation around the international olympiad Open Doors organised by The Association of Global Universities, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudichestvo).
In the course of the working meeting, the speakers touched upon the topic of key competencies of the University and organization by the Association of an international olympiad – event under the national project “Science and Universities”.
“The Association is not just an organization that exists by its own. This is a team of strong universities, the strongest expert venue in the country that finds solutions to complex tasks in the sphere of education. If we see some problem, we get together and discuss possible solutions” – “Global Universities” executive director, HSE vice-president, Irina Karelina.
At the event, Moscow Polytech was represented by the president Vladimir Miklushevskii, and the Association Global Universities – by the executive director Irina Karelina, head of secretariat Gregory Yazev, coordinator of analytical department Maria Bechvaya.
As a reminder, Moscow Polytech joined the Association in December 2023. The organization was founded in 2014 in order to coordinate and unite efforts striving to achieve international competitiveness.
