On June 4, at the site of the Children’s Techno park of Moscow Polytech, a partner-company LG held an interactive eco-lecture for students fr om Moscow schools. The event was timed to the World Environment Day. Experts told the students about the importance of nature conservation and how the input from each of them can be useful for this.
The speaker was PR/ESG Director of LG Electronics Tatiana Shakhness. The attendees included around 70 students. In the lecture held in a dialogue format, the expert particularly noted eco-initiatives of the company. An example was the project “Love and take care of what you wear”, aimed at conscious consumption and careful care of clothes, wh ere famous Russian designers talk about 3D collections, using natural fabrics, lamination-free packaging, careful use of fabric residues for making toys for orphanages. In addition, young participants learned about corporate volunteering using the example of the donor history of the company that has been ongoing since 2009.
Let us remind you that this is already not the first joint action of LG and the University. Earlier, LG organized master-classes and launched an educational project “LGx Moscow Polytech”.
