Moscow Polytech Representatives Visit Key Educational Institutions of the Vietnam Republic
A Moscow Polytechnic University delegation visited Vietnam to strengthen cooperation in education. During the visit, the delegation held meetings with local authorities, heads of schools, technical colleges and universities, communicated with students. Yulia Davydova, Vice Rector for International Affairs, and Alina Andrukh, Head of International Directorate, were members of the delegation.
Representatives of the University visited the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province. They discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of education. Then, a meeting was held with schoolstudents fr om the Lao Cai Specialised School. They discussed the issues of student training and the possibility of enrolling in Moscow Polytech.
In Tuyen Quang Province, a Moscow Polytech Delegation met with the local authorities and the management of technical schools. Representatives of Moscow Polytechnic University made a presentation at Tan Chao School and University. The presentation included promising areas of study for Vietnamese citizens.
In Nghe An Province, the delegation visited Vinh University and its specialised school, wh ere academic exchange and the introduction of innovative educational approaches were discussed. Delegation also visited Phan Boi Chau and Kim Lien schools and met with talented students.
Representatives of the University visited Han Tinh province where the Delegation held talks with local authorities and visited Lee You Chong and Cam Binh schools. During the meeting they discussed the integration of Russian educational programmes, the development of distance learning and partnership projects in the field of electric transport.
The Visit was another step in the expansion of international co-operation and underlined the readiness to support educational initiatives and academic exchange between Russia and Vietnam.
According to experts, the University's educational programmes are rather popular with Vietnamese citizens. More than 40 citizens from Vietnam are currently studying at the university. Active co-operation with Vietnamese universities is underway, and various conferences are planned to be held annually, such as “SETSM 2024” on the topic of sustainable development and promising technologies in the field of smart manufacturing, “ES&M. Quality Management Technology” together with Hanoi Industrial University, Hanoi National Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Vietnam State Technical University named after Le Quy Don and others. It is important to note that this year Moscow Polytech joined the Russian-Vietnamese Consortium of Technical Universities.
