Moscow Poly Industrial partner – “Micromine Rus” LTD – has decided to provide Moscow Poly department of “Technique and Technology of Mining and Oil Production ” with a set of licenses for IT tools useful in the process of education. The software produced by the company helps to optimize production at the mining enterprises and form business processes.
“Micromine Rus” ltd is the “Micromine” representative office to Russia. The company has offices in over 90 countries with over 50 operating mines and 3,000 running projects. The agreement between the University and “Micromine Rus” when the company representatives took part in the round table event held by the University. The document was signed by Moscow Poly vice-president for academic affairs Gyuzel Sharipzyanova and the company director general Boris Kurtsev.
“Our company is working on the edge of mining production and digital technologies. We`ve been actively working with the industry-specific universities since 2011 and we`re happy that Moscow Poly returned our initiative. Receiving licenses is usually seen as the first step to improving relations with a university. After that, the number of the awarded licenses grows and eventually the University is expected to take over the digital center itself. So far, there are 10 of them in Russia – the centers allow to carry out professional training for specialists according to the modern requirements of the production, and for the long run. We`re citizens of Russia and it`s important for us see to required talent capacity so that the mining production would continue being on the peak and adding to the Russian economy”, – noted Boris Kurtsev.
According to him, after awarding licenses [to the University] the company employees will teach the University staff to work with the innovation products.
