Moscow Polytech student presented innovative BIM solution for building operation
A second year student of the Faculty of Information Technologies at Moscow Polytech Pyotr Ptushkin presented his innovative project “Inwors”, a software for creating building structures at the stage of operation using the BIM technologies.
Pyotr Ptushkin’s development aims to revolutionize the process of building operation, by introducing advanced digital solutions. While the BIM models are used in engineering and construction, their use at the stage of operation is only in its infancy. Inwors is aimed at filling this gap, providing efficient tools for managing and monitoring construction sites.
The “Inwors” project has already received high rating from industry experts and was presented to the President of the Russian Federation, to the Mayor of Moscow and Russia’s Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services. “Inwors” is also a part of the Integrated Maintenance Management System (IMMS/KSUTO), being developed by the project partner – KSUTO Company. Jointly, they are striving to completely digitalize all the cycle of buildings operations, from document management to the creation of digital twins.
Pyotr Ptushkin’s report aroused great interest among the conference participants and served as a starting point of the discussion about prospects of applying digital technologies to construction and operation of buildings. Moderators of the “Digital Technologies in Sociocultural Sphere” section, organized by Moscow Polytech, noted practical significance of the “Inwors” project and its potential for increasing efficiency and safety of construction facilities’ operation.

Leontiev. The event became the platform for the exchange of experience and ideas between representatives of various scientific schools, allowing to consider problems of digitalization from different angles and outline ways to solve them.
