Moscow Polytech – a partner of the third season of the All-Russian Competition “Start the Game”
The project “Start the Game” of the Presidential Platform “Russia – Land of Opportunity”, which is implemented in the framework of the federal project “Social Lifts for Everyone” of the national project “Education”, unites participants at the age of 14 on the track “Game Creator”.
The track “Game Creator” is a true track from working through an idea and founding a team up to the release of a game product and monetization of activities. Its result will become demo versions of the computer and mobile games, as well as the prototypes of board games. The rules allow starting a new gaming development and enter the third season of the project “Start the Game” with the already ready idea. The games may be created in a solo-development or in a team of up to 10 people, and, if a team opens vacancies – then independent specialists may join them.
In order to enter the final of “Start the Game” It will be necessary to solve six obligatory tasks. On may register at any time until October 14, 2024, but submission of an application for the competition in the nearest time will provide the access to unique educational programs and communication with the experts in the gaming industry.
“The teams and solo-developers with the support of our methodologists are already moving towards their success. They will get valuable advices about how to analyze the market in order to probe the demand in their product and to identify the target audience, will study main promotion tools, immerse themselves in the basics of monetization and search for an investor and will learn how to release their work into the light”- told the head of All-Russian competition “Start the Game” Mariam Karpova.
One more novelty of the third season, besides the track “Game Creator”, - are the monetary prizes. VTB bank will be the General Sponsor of the All-Russian competition “Start the Game”. The total prize fund will make up 1,6 million rubles. Initial financial support will receive the winners in each of the four nominations of the “Game Creator” track:
“Family Games” – video-and board games for family leisure and family bonding;
“The Regions and Languages of Russia” - the nomination, dedicated to the cultural identity of the subjects of the Russian Federation;
“Science, Education and Healthcare” - useful games, which will be able to teach skills, necessary for the work in scientific, educational environment and medicine;
“Sports and Esports” – video and board games, dedicated to different types of sports, and healthy lifestyle.
Apart from main nominations, the teams may apply for support in special nominations from the partners, including those of Moscow Polytech. Their full list as well as technical conditions of participation and the prize fund are published at the platform начниигру.рф. (“Start the Game”).
