A female student of Moscow Polytech entered TOP-5 human rights defenders of the year in Central Federal District

A female student of Moscow Polytech Sophia Scherbak took the fifth place according to the results of the “Human Rights Defender” competition, which ended in the Yaroslavl’ region at the XVI School of Legal Literacy in Central Federal District.

Ten participants competed for the first place. For them, the organizers prepared eight tests: a professional test, blitz, self-portrait, two to one, educational program, pro-intelligence, teamwork and public speaking. It was important to demonstrate self-presentation skills, show their legal knowledge, as well as demonstrate the ability to transfer this knowledge to others. 

“The School of Legal Literacy of CFD, in the framework of which there was conducted the “Human Rights Defender of the Year – CFD – 2024” competition, is a combination of unreally cool delegations, useful knowledge and expertise exchange between primaries. Within three days, I completed eight competitive tests, and I saw my weak and strong points, what I should work on in the future. Frankly speaking, the time in Yaroslavl’ flew by very unnoticeably and charged me with energy for further work!”- shared her emotions a female student of the 3rd year of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Deputy Chairman of the Student Trade Union Bureau of Moscow Polytech Sophia Scherbak.

In addition to competitive tests, the delegation of Moscow Polytech organized an educational track “Organizational and Personnel Unity” and took part in other tracks of the program.
