On March 30 and 31, Moscow Polytech held a city stage of Moscow Student Spring. Hundreds of Moscow students competed in the nomination “Vocal”.
In the course of 2 contest days, over 500 participants visited Moscow Polytech from more than 30 Moscow universities. The jury board was comprised of vocalists and musicians, among them was the opera lead singer of Moscow State Academic children`s music theater n.a. N.I.Sats Anton Varentsov, participant of the first season of the show “Show” on [the Russian channel] TNT, show “All Together” on Russia-1, one of 100 experts of the project “All Together” K.KARASH, leader of cover-band “Natasha Rostova`s First Ball” Andrei Fedotov. Choreographer and folklorist, participant of a creative team “Petr Valentinovich” Uliana Karlova.
“For the first time, I was one of the organizers of Moscow Student Spring” although surely a lot that unites us. I participated in the contest started from the first season. I watched the majority of performances while I was in the hall as an organizer, I was crazy worried for every participant. Surely, I couldn`t not single out the performance by the vocal ensemble. The guys behaved in an unconstrained and unshackled manner. They definitely did cheer up the jury, and we tried to keep that up. Organizing events as such is a sheer delight, that`s what I love doing. The atmosphere of creativity, acquaintances and competition”, says Moscow Polytech master student Diana Chudosai.
The event resulted in a number of Moscow Polytech students joining the “Russian Youth Union”. For the newcomers, there was an annual initiation ceremony held. Those initiated had to and drink a cocktail. After that, they were awarded by a membership card and a badge.
For reference: the Festival is held in the framework of Russian national programs to support and develop student creativity “Russian Student Spring”.
