The students learnt more about the noble Russia of early XVIII – XX centuries, the lifestyle of Russian nobility, artworks and dived into the atmosphere of Alexei Mikhailovich`s Russia, they learnt a great deal of interesting facts of the history of Russian, and familiarized themselves with the works of orthodox icon painting in the framework of exposition called “Museum of Russian Castes”.
“I came to Russia somewhat less than a week ago to study Russian and consequently get a higher degree in engineering. I` happy that Ilya Glazunov Gallery was the first museum that I visited. I learnt many new things about Russian culture and history. It was incredibly interesting!”,– said Naimi Emran from the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
In his turn, Nsenda Emmanuel Kambala from the DR Kongo shared that visiting museums is one of his favorite leisure activities.
