On August 26, the annual “Roscosmos” intensive course for the participants of the project “Space Class” ended at Moscow Polytech. The event program included several arrangements. A meeting with a hero of Russia, a pilot-astronaut Andrey Borissenko, was one of them. The speaker spoke about the importance of the projects that introduce schoolchildren to the rocket and space industry
In response, the participants of the meeting could pose to Andrey Ivanovich their questions, take pictures and get his autograph. In addition, the ceremony of awarding educational institutions took place, of those having demonstrated the utmost activity within the framework of the project “Space Class” during the year, as well as of the winners of the All-Russian Space Tournament.
The business program included the experience exchange and best practices of the project implementation shared by representatives of educational institutions. In their turn, the speakers spoke in more detail about the infrastructure for the space education in the country, as well as about the targeted education and implementation of an additional program “Geo Informatics”.
The intensive course ended with master-classes on satellite construction and rocket modeling that, according to the authors, the teachers may organize for the children at their educational institutions.
