Moscow Polytech has reached a new level for training for specialists in refrigeration, cryogenic and climate control technology

On May 27, an educational center equipped with modern climate control systems opened at the “Low temperature technology named after P.L. Kapitsa” department. Specialist of the centre considered all types of various ventilation systems, including conditioning and maintaining the microclimate at residential buildings, offices and enterprises. The main feature of the laboratory is that the equipment set up ensures learning while interacting with all the basic elements of refrigerating equipment, systems of control and management.

Experts explain that in real life the elements of the system are often installed at considerable distance from each other, and in different premises. As the result, for students it is rather hard to understand the principle of the system’s operation, select engineering and mounting options, as well as control mechanisms.

Now, the equipment will make it possible to expand the opportunities of training specialists in the field of Bachelor's and Master's degrees, as well as to introduce new project-based learning programs not only at the department of “Low temperature technology named after P.L.Kapitsa”, but at the related departments at other faculties of the University.
