Moscow Polytech and 2050.Lab Discussed Further Cooperation during Business Meeting
Moscow Polytech and the National Centre for Industrial Design and Innovation 2050.Lab reached new cooperation agreements during a meeting. Previously, the participants had already launched one of the joint projects - the development of underground train car coatings that will be launched in the 2024/25 academic year.
This visit of 2050.Lab representatives was a return visit, after the university staff visited the National Centre of Industrial Design. One of the main topics of the meeting was discussion of the impact on the development of technology, quality of life and the future of industrial design.
This time the participants also shared strategic plans for the future where they emphasised the importance of industrial design. In addition, the employment of students and graduates of Moscow Polytech was discussed as well. The experts of 2050.Lab once again expressed their interest in employing students, as well as in providing places for internships and apprenticeships. According to the experts there are already successful examples in this direction. As part of the co-operation, they agreed on several more joint projects.
“I am sure we will continue the cooperation that has already been established. I think we will add a few more points of interaction. For example, in the field of additional professional education and, possibly, engineering initiatives”, said Klim Pertsev, Lead Project Manager of 2050.Lab.
“We are planning a wide range of cooperation. 2050.Lab is interested in projects where they could recruit high-quality staff from our students and graduates in the medium and long term. We will be solving these tasks!”, - said Ivan Petukhov, Head of the Centre for Project Activities of Moscow Polytech.
