Get familiar with University, teachers and curators: we are telling you about the adaptive course
Between 5-12 September, Moscow Polytech will organize an adaptive course, which will help freshmen to learn more about studies, student unions, project activities and much more. The adaptive course includes several stages, the final of which will become the solemn ceremony “Dedication to Students 2024”. We have prepared the material where we spoke in detail about the event launching the new academic year.
At the adaptive course, new students will get familiar with:
- University’s infrastructure (educational buildings and dormitories);
- Representatives of faculties and institutes;
- Curators and academic tutors;
- Carrier Center, Campus location and services;
- Educational process;
- Groupmates.
In addition, freshmen will learn everything about project activities, scientific fields, additional professional education, as well as extracurricular activitis and other opportunities offered by the University.
The adaptive course will be held simultaneously in five buildings:
“Pavla Korchagina”
“Avtozavodskaya”
“Pryanishnikova”
“Bolshaya Semyonovskaya”
“Mikhailovskaya”
During the adaptive course, the freshmen will be accompanied and guided by curators of Moscow Polytech. These are the students of senior courses, who graduated fr om the Curator School. The curators are assigned to each group of freshmen, tell them about the University, its rules and regulations, the structure of education, give instructions, solve the arising issues, respond to questions, assist in obtaining and issuing the required documents. They also share about the scholarship, what should be done if a student ID card is lost, wh ere to apply for a certificate. These and other questions may be addressed to the curator who knows the answers. The adaptive course will end on September 12 by the solemn ceremony of initiation into students of Moscow Polytech. This will be a big celebration with invited guests, headliners, performances by the creative teams of the University, announcing the results of the competition “The Best Team of Adaptive Course”, and, of course, with gifts.
