“Talking about Important Things”: current problems of modern youth discussed at Moscow Polytech
On April 11, Moscow Polytech organized the discussion session with experts on issues relating to the younger generation health: gambling and drug addiction. In total, around 100 students and lecturers of the University took part in the event.
The experts once again reminded about the disciplinary and criminal responsibility for the possession and distribution of drugs. Thus, such offenses may become the reason for expulsion fr om the university.
Clinical psychologist of the 4th branch of the Moscow Scientific and Practical Center of Narcology of the Department of Health Andrey Motkov shared the examples from his practice, as well as wh ere and how students may receive free consultation and medical aid.
In addition, the participants discussed one more important topic - gambling addiction. The students of the IT Faculty presented the report on “Gambling is the ХХI Century Drug”. In conclusion, the teachers recommended the students to take care about themselves and their health, and, if needed, to come for help.
