Moscow Polytech “New Library” to Introduce Students to Myths

The “New Library” strategic project by Moscow Poly invites all willing to join the “Hitchhiking Through Myths” event on November 10 at 18:00.

The hosts are to talk about Nordic and Egyptian mythologies, how they appeared and the structures of the world. You will learn about the key figures of the myths and the role they play in history.

Have you heard that Scandinavians believes that the world is similar to 3 plastines on top of which there is a gigantic tree growing – Yggdrasil? What about the fact that the British writer John Ronald Reuel Tolkien copied the image of Gandalf from Odin? Worshiping the Egyptian gods had been one of the most solid religions in the world and lasted for 3000 years compared to Buddhism as existed for 2,500 and Christianity for 2,000 years.

This and much more is waiting for you at “New Library” at 18:00.

Join us at Bolshaya Semyonovskaya st., 38, office “H-416”.
