Alisa Turaeva and Elizar Ospennikov Won Silver in the Championship 2019 Future Skills

Third-year students of the faculty of Information Technologies of Moscow Polytechnic University took second place in the competence of "Internet of Things" at the World Championship on Professional Skills Future Skills 2019.

The Internet of thin gives a chance to implement the interaction of a variety of devices, which can be located even at a great distance from each other, with a person, other devices and information systems. A specialist who has mastered this competence develops distributed control systems such devices using the Internet and cloud technologies. During the competition, students developed a control system project, drew flowcharts and interface diagrams, connected equipment to the platform "Internet of things".

Also the participants were offered to operate the equipment of the flexible manufacturing unit and develop a system of automation of production, analysis and visualization of monitoring data to determine the technical and economic indicators of production. Elizar Ospennikov and Alisa Turaeva perfectly coped with this task, losing only five points gold medalists.

Future Skills is a competition area of promising professions that are in demand in the conditions of high-tech production and digital economy. It is a model of a "Smart city" with such key areas of activity as manufacturing and engineering, information and digital technologies, energy, medicine, agriculture, transport, creativity and design.
