Moscow Polytechnic University took part in the International Book Fair in Minsk

Within the period from 6th to 10th of February the 26th International book fair was held in Minsk. More than 37 countries took part in this event. Representatives of Moscow Polytechnic University also joined the Russian stand.

Guests and participants of the event got detailed information about different educational programs of our University. Our experts prepared presentations, lectures and arranged discussions.

Director of Higher School of Printing and Media Industry Ekaterina Khokhlogorskaya talked about book and media education in the CIS, and also about the unique position of our University in this sphere.

Irina Ivanova, head of the Department of International Integration and Work with Foreign Students, made presentations "Moscow Polytechnic University — a Modern Educational Track", "Moscow Polytechnic University — Opportunities and Prospects".

Innokenty Kileinikov, a Professor of the Department "Arts and Technical Design of Printed Materials " held an interactive lecture "Lessons of the Advance-guard and contemporary polygraph-Polytech", "What is Art of Books, and How to Live with it now."

In addition to the main program our representatives took part in the discussion "Belarus-Russia: Mutual Positioning of Fraternal Literature", met with the staff of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, students and the administration of Belarusian State Technological University.

According to observers, the sales of books are growing at the fair, the event is gaining popularity. Moreover, the presentations of educational programs are of great interest. And among the speeches, the audience's attention is paid not only to meetings with famous writers, but also with leading teachers.
