Our specialists at the exhibition Interplastika

From January 29 to February 1, Moscow Expocentre hosted the 22nd International specialized exhibition "Interplastica", organized by Messe Dusseldorf with the assistance of Federal ministries and the Russian Union of chemists. The business program of the exhibition included presentations by experts in the field of plastics and rubbers. Among the speakers - representatives of Moscow Polytechnic University.

The reports were based on scientific developments, which became the result of the project activities of the University. As the Professor of the Department “Hardware Design and Automation of Technological Processes” Igor Skopintsev told the start of this research was given when the topic of multifunctional composite polymeric materials became one of the key in the work of the Department.

Professor Skopintsev focuses on improving the percentage of composition the composite, which was obtained about ten years ago from secondary polymers and waste basalt production. Raschig rings were made from this material, which are currently being tested in cooling towers and help to improve the efficiency.

Semyon Kormakov, a High-Research teacher at Moscow Polytechnic University and a and a trainee at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, presented a report on "The study of the electrophysical properties of polymer composites with carbon filler". The topic is particularly relevant due to the fact that conductive polymer materials are widely used in various fields of production.

Mikhail Kalin, a High-Research teacher at Moscow Polytechnic University, spoke about the use of electrostatic effect in protective coatings made of polymer materials. From his report, visitors were able to learn about ways to make more durable protective coatings of metal products.

In addition, racing team FDR Moscow presented the car Iguana G9 on the stand of Moscow Polytechnic University. The main feature of this prototype is an aerodynamic body kit, completely made of lightweight and strong composite materials.

Detailed information about the event you can find on the official website of the exhibition "Interplastika".
