Program FAQ
Your research supervisor can be docent, usually DLitt, with active academic activity on his area of research and Web of science and Scopus publications. Research supervisor is presented by head of academic department and approved during the meeting of university’s academic council.
Department’s occupation is academic work, involved in performance of modern Russian language in mass media, modern journalism, with an analysis of active processes in modern Russian language, media stylistics, textual phonostylistics, development of modern language vocabulary, linguodidactics.
Teaching practice takes place during lections and seminars on modern Russian language, practical and functional stylistics, stylistics and literary editing, active processes in modern Russian language, language of printed mass media in groups of students, editors and publishers of Moscow Polytechnic University’s Institute of Publishing and Journalism with the guidance of teachers from departments of Russian language and Literary history. Postgraduate students can participate in creation of electronic learning resources on programs of the department.
Postgraduate students can participate in both Russian and foreign international conferences and give a paper there. Everything depend on creative capabilities of the student.
Usually our postgraduate students come up with their employment place during studies. Our graduates work in many other universities of Moscow, e.g. docent Geychenko S.A. is working in the department of Russian Language in Kosygin Russian State University.
Yes, they do. Recently our graduate Olga Zgirovksaya presented and defended her thesis (Research supervisor – DLitt, prof. S.S. Chromov.
Graduates are entitled to defend their thesis in any thesis board on the academic profile. Usually they defend at thesis boards of People’s Friendship University of Russia and Pushkin State University.
