The training program for highly qualified personnel has as its goal the development of students' personal qualities, as well as the formation of universal, general professional and professional competencies in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard in the direction of 27.06.01 "Management in technical systems".
The complexity of mastering by students in postgraduate of the educational program in the direction of training 27.06.01 "Management in technical systems" in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education is 240 credit units, including all types of audience and individual work of the student, practices and time allocated to control the quality of mastering the educational program by the student.
The area of expertise of graduates who have mastered the postgraduate program includes the development of new management methods, information processing and the search for new constructive solutions in the creation of control systems for technical objects, research in the field of control theory, artificial intelligence methods.
The objects of the area of expertise of graduates, mastered the postgraduate program are:
- - control systems for technical facilities, including information-sensory, executive and control modules;
- - their mathematical, algorithmic and software;
- - methods and means of their design, modeling, experimental research and design;
- - carrying out theoretical and experimental studies of control systems for technical facilities for various purposes.

Postgraduate studies are conducted by the Department of Standardization, Metrology and Certification.
The educational process is built in such a way that all disciplines (modules) are mastered at a deep theoretical level with a view to their subsequent application in practice. Subject modules of the postgraduate program consist of basic and variable parts:
Block 1. “Disciplines (modules)” includes disciplines related to the basic and to the variable parts of the program.
Block 2. “Practices” fully refers to the variable part of the program.
Block 3. “Research work” also fully refers to the variable part of the program.
Block 4. “State final certification” fully refers to the basic part of the program and ends with the assignment of the qualification “Researcher. Research Teacher. ”
Each form of scientific activity (research, teaching) involves the completion of various types of work by graduate students, including:
- writing reference papers, reports and scientific articles;
- implementation of practical work;
- participation in seminars and conferences at different levels;
- performance of scientific research;
- traineeship;
- knowledge transfer to students through their own educational activities.
In accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education, teaching practice is obligatory. It takes place at a university base. Its purpose is to obtain the necessary skills for teaching in higher school profile and related disciplines.
